With over 20 years of experience, Sam Megalli is a trusted Sydney builder known for his expertise in renovations, extensions, first-floor additions, and heritage restoration projects across the Inner West and greater Sydney region.
As the founder of Megabuild, Sam combines technical knowledge with a personal approach, specialising in structural repairs, rising damp and moisture solutions, underpinning, BCA compliance upgrades, and defect rectifications. His ability to manage complex projects from concept to completion has made Megabuild a go-to choice for homeowners seeking precision, quality, and reliability.
Before establishing Megabuild, Sam worked with leading construction companies such as Multiplex, where he gained invaluable experience in high-rise residential and commercial construction. This background gives him a unique edge blending big-project discipline with the hands-on detail and care that renovation and extension work demands.
Sam is passionate about creating spaces that stand the test of time. Every project is delivered with clear communication, transparency, and craftsmanship that reflects his deep understanding of both design intent and structural integrity.
When he’s not on site or fine-tuning a project plan, you’ll find Sam training at the gym, walking his dog, or spending quality time with his family.
Julie Megalli
Business Operations & Client Relations
Julie has been an integral part of Megabuild for over 13 years, overseeing the operational and client-facing side of the business. As Sam’s wife and business partner, she manages invoicing, administration, and marketing, ensuring a seamless and well-communicated experience from commencement through to completion.
With a Master’s degree in Psychology, Julie brings a thoughtful, people-focused approach supporting clear communication, organisation, and a smooth project journey for every client.
